Based on Second Language Acquisition (SLA) theories, B&D English School has developed a Parent-Child program designed to maximize English usage within the family.
We introduce "Parent-Child Simultaneous Group Lessons," particularly effective for preschoolers and elementary schoolers, creating an environment where parents and children naturally use English together.
In our lessons, we integrate the Communicative Approach, focusing on real-world interaction, along with TPR (Total Physical Response) for kinesthetic learning. This ensures that children acquire English effectively and enjoyably.
Of course, traditional 100% one-on-one lessons remain a popular choice. Depending on your family's goals, you can also consider combining different standard plans for parent and child.
A parent's active involvement significantly impacts a child's language acquisition. By combining practical use at home with professional "Scaffolding" and "Pattern Practice" at school, we maximize the effects of bilingual education, moving beyond basic conversation (BICS) toward logical thinking and academic proficiency (CALP).
For stays with two family members, we provide a room equipped with two single beds.
For preschool-aged children or if you are concerned about your child falling out of bed, low-profile beds are available upon request (prior reservation required).
For families with children in middle school or older, please refer to the
